liquid dawn
what rains fell
in hues of crystalline and glass
like shattered dreams
like purple dusk
the rains of empty skies that hit the earth
cold and grey
in sculpted glass her laugh can not be seen
monstrous streets splinter her
captured memories
deep inside
like rivers of blood
cutting the feet
of barefoot boys
what rains touched these streets
erasing the steps she walked with me on summer nights
and hands
and breath
like mist in liquid dawn
that has no time for glass
